There are a couple more important updates this week regarding the COVID-19 response policies that constituents in the First District should be aware of.
First, if you are still waiting on your $1,200 Economic Impact Payment, and you have not shared your direct deposit information with the IRS yet, you have to do say by today, May 13th. If you do not do so by today, you will still receive your payment, but you will have to wait on a paper check in the mail.
Go to the IRS website and use the Get My Payment tool to share your direct deposit information with the IRS.
Additionally, I know many of you have applied for one or more of the SBA programs designed to assist local businesses deal with the impact of COVID-19 over the past weeks. For further information on the programs, please check out the SBA’s dedicated webpage dedicated to temporary relief options, as well as well as our office’s FAQs on COVID-19 related issues. If you have any questions or concerns with any of the programs, e.g. the Paycheck Protection Program or the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program, please feel free to reach out to my office.
My staff and I want to continue to be a resource for you however we can. Please let us know how we can help!
