Today, my colleagues and I in the House passed H.R. 748, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. This $2 trillion supplemental package was the third piece of legislation passed by Congress in order to address the medical and economic needs of Americans in the midst of the battle with COVID-19.

A bipartisan group of younger lawmakers is trying to change that. For the past four Congresses, Rep.
