WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR-01) and Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA-17) introduced H.R. 4361, the Safeguarding Transit Operations to Prohibit (STOP) China Act, which would shield American manufacturers and supply chains from Chinese influence in our transit systems. This legislation ensures that no federal assistance awards granted by the Department of Transportation (DOT) may be used to purchase "rolling stock" vehicles or powertrain components from companies under China's influence.

Today, Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR-01) and Congressman Salud Carbajal (D-CA-24) introduced H.R. 2920, the VARIANCE Act, which allows for a 10 percent shift in weight variance along the axles of tank trucks carrying dry goods, without any increase in the overall federal gross vehicle weight (GVW) limit.

USPS Blue Mailbox—If you are placing your tax return into a USPS blue mailbox, you must do so by COB April 14th. Failure to do so could result in your return being processed late.
Mailing on April 15th—If you are mailing your taxes on April 15th, go in person to your local post office and ask for your envelope to be hand-stamped with the current date.
