Washington, D.C. – After President Obama vetoed the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2016,  Representative Rick Crawford (AR-1) released the following statement.

As the commander-in-chief, the President should know how crucial this bipartisan legislation is for American troops, but his past actions and now this veto demonstrate that our military’s efficacy is not the priority for him that I believe it should be. Should the House bring up the bill again, I intend to vote to override the veto so that our military receives the support it needs to remain safe and effective.”
