WASHINGTON, DC- Today, the House of Representatives failed to pass H.R. 2, the Agriculture and Nutrition Act of 2018.

Following the Farm bill vote Crawford released the following statement:

“While I support the reforms found in the legislation my colleagues ultimately determined was worth pursuing before the Farm Bill, I do not support their tactics that undermine our nation’s farmers and ranchers at a time when they need more certainty. I will continue to work with Chairman Conaway and House Leaders to bring up our bill as soon as we can and get strong legislation to the President’s desk.”

Rep. Rick Crawford is a member of the House Committee on Agriculture as well as the Chairman of Subcommittee General Farm Commodities and Risk Management
