Rep. Crawford Responds to Implementation of 2nd Round of Market Facilitation Payments

Washington, DC – Late last night President Trump announced that he would keep his promise to our nation’s farmers and ranchers by authorizing the implementation of the 2^ndround of Market Facilitation Payments. Last Friday, Rep. Crawford lead his colleagues in sending a letter to President Trump urging him to deliver these payments before the year’s end. 

“I am pleased to see the President not only deliver such a quick response to the concerns I voiced last week, but to see him continue to stand with rural America. Like any other industry, farmers are harmed by unfair foreign trade practices, but are also challenged by risks inherent to agriculture and a struggling farm economy.”said Crawford
