Congressman Crawford Statement on Supporting Israel

Congressman Rick Crawford (R-Ark.) released the following statement in response to President Barack Obama’s Thursday foreign policy speech:

“President Obama’s statement that Israel should accept its pre-1967 boundaries is an unacceptable demand of a loyal ally. The strength of Israel’s democracy, even its right to exist, is at stake in this question. America must treat its strongest ally in the Middle East with the respect they have earned by upholding the shared principles of America and Israel. We have far too few Middle Eastern allies to be alienating our best.”

Congressman Rick Crawford is the first Republican elected to represent Arkansas’s First Congressional District since Reconstruction.  He serves on the Agriculture and Transportation & Infrastructure Committees. Rick and his wife Stacy, both ASU alumni, reside in Jonesboro with their two children.
