Crawford: One Week left in Medicare Open Enrollment
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rick Crawford reminded senior citizens of the December 7th deadline for Medicare Open Enrollment.
“Open Enrollment is an important time for seniors to make sure they have the best Medicare plan possible. Navigating any federal program can be daunting. My office is here to help seniors in Northeast Arkansas make sense out of the Open Enrollment process,” said Crawford. “Medicare is a promise to seniors. Seniors who have worked hard their entire lives and paid into Medicare and Social Security deserve the best options possible.”
Crawford encourages seniors who have questions regarding Medicare Open Enrollment to call his Jonesboro office at 870-203-0540.
During open enrollment you will have the opportunity to:
• Change to a Medicare Advantage Plan, or select a different plan that better meets your needs
• Join a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan
• Switch from one Medicare Prescription Drug Plan to another Medicare Prescription Drug Plan
Not every senior citizen will want to make changes to their current Medicare plan. However, any changes to current plans or first time enrollments must be completed by December 7th
