Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR), issued the following statement today on the 40th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling legalizing abortion in America:

“Every representative, every physician and every American needs to be reminded that at the center of this struggle is the protection of all human life. We cannot live in a society where some human life is valued and other life is not. Open hearts and open minds are needed to heal our nation and change abortions into adoptions. We must join together to pray for the protection of the unborn. The intersection of prayer and action will produce amazing results.”

Congressman Rick Crawford represents Arkansas’s First Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives. Crawford serves on the Agriculture Committee and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. On the Agriculture Committee, Crawford is Chairman of the Livestock, Rural Development and Credit Subcommittee. Congressman Crawford and his wife Stacy live in Jonesboro with their two children.
