Today, Congressman Rick Crawford released the following statement about the deployment of the 1039th Engineer Company of the Arkansas Army National Guard’s 875th Engineer Battalion deployment to Afghanistan.

“I want to wish the soldiers of the 1039th Engineer Company Godspeed and protection in their deployment to Afghanistan. I deeply regret not being able to attend in person while our community, our families, and our neighbors send you away with our best wishes and prayers for you, and your families, as you serve our country overseas. The service of these soldiers and their families to our nation in protecting and defending our freedoms does not go unnoticed. We will always be grateful for your service and will always remember the sacrifice you have made for this generation and for generations to come.”
