Crawford Takes Oath of Office for 113th Congress
Today, Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR) was sworn-in to a second term in the Congress during the formal swearing of members ceremony on the floor of the House of Representatives.
“Representing Arkansas’s First Congressional District in the House of Representatives is an honor. Over the next two years our country will face many challenges. We must find ways to reign in government spending, stop running up deficits and begin paying down our nation’s crushing debt. In the 113th Congress I will be a strong voice for enacting permanent spending controls, like a Balanced Budget Amendment, that will ensure Washington stops spending money that we simply do not have,” said Crawford. “My staff and I will continue working everyday to help improve the quality of life for the 750,000 hard-working folks in the First District. I encourage my constituents to visit my offices in Cabot, Jonesboro, Mountain Home and Washington if we can be of assistance.”
