Federal Contracting Workshop for Small Businesses

Congressman Rick Crawford and the Arkansas Small Business & Technology Development Center invite small businesses owners to a “Lunch and Learn” workshop on Monday, May 9, at 12 p.m. to find out more about contracting with the Federal government for disaster clean up. The workshop is at the Delta Center for Economic Development Building, located adjacent to the College of Business at Arkansas State University. 

A representative with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will give a presentation and answer questions. Please bring your lunch and drinks will be provided.

“It is important to give small businesses the information they need to assist the state during this difficult time,” said Congressman Rick Crawford. “This workshop will connect small business owners to Arkansans that desperately need their help.”

Small businesses that may be interested in the workshop include (but not limited to): debris removal, lawn care, carpet cleaning, furniture repair and restoration, hazardous treatment and removal, construction, trucking, and floor care.
