Rep. Crawford Announces Support for McCarthy’s Speaker Bid

Washington, DC – Today, Representative Rick Crawford (AR-01) issued the following statement of support for Leader McCarthy in the Speaker’s race:
“Our country faces serious challenges. Our southern border is in crisis, Communist China threatens our economic and national security, American families face soaring prices and a slowing economy, and the Biden Administration is relentlessly pushing its woke, extremist social agenda. The new GOP majority must focus on governing, on oversight, and on restoring America, not mindless infighting over a Speaker election. Kevin McCarthy led House Republicans to retake the majority and he will be the next Speaker of the House with my support and my vote. Potential delays imposed by a tiny minority within the GOP would get them headlines, but would also be helping Biden, not advancing conservative principles. I’ll be voting for Kevin for as many ballots as it takes to elect him Speaker so we can get back to work on behalf of the American people.”
