Rep. Crawford Responds to Democrat Dog and Pony Show

Washington — Tonight, House Democrats will unveil a response to soaring inflation and violent crime, with a TV show about Donald Trump.

With gas prices exceeding an average of $5 per gallon nationally for the first time in U.S. history, and violent crime and homicide rates rising, House Democrats will finally respond to these crises, by continuing their hallucination that the bigger threat is a former president who no longer sits in the Oval Office. This kangaroo court’s TV special is being produced by a partisan television executive and stars a ‘jury’ that Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hand-selected.

“As prices have exploded for food, gas, housing, new and used cars, and utilities since President Biden took office, Democrats have been focused on everything other than the needs of the American people,” said Rep. Rick Crawford (AR-01). “This prime-time campaign event will not help working families make ends meet. Its only goal is to motivate Democrats’ extremist base and demonize Trump voters.”

Gas prices averaged $2.39 per gallon on the day President Biden was inaugurated. Their doubling during his tenure is delivering a crushing blow to working families and small businesses.

“Middle class families have pressing concerns, most notably that their economic security and personal safety have nose-dived since the president took office,” Crawford continued. “As Democrats continue down the rabbit hole with their Donald Trump obsession, my colleagues and I remain focused on working to reverse the Biden-Pelosi economy and their soft-on-crime, anti-police policies that are devastating families.”
