Rep. Crawford Responds to Latest Inflation Report

Washington — Today, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released its April Consumer Price Index which reported that consumer prices are up 8.3% from last year.
Under President Biden, Americans are continuing to suffer under excruciating inflation.
Representative Rick Crawford (AR-01) released the following statement in response to the latest inflation reports:
“Americans have seen the buying power of their wages plunge significantly all while inflation recks havoc on our supply chain and makes essential goods such as baby formula nearly impossible to obtain. Bidenflation hurts working families the most and has prevented them from ever getting back their financial footing after the pandemic.”
Rep. Crawford continued,“President Biden promised measured and competent leadership to get us past the pandemic but instead Americans got record-breaking gas prices, skyrocketing inflation, and bare grocery store shelves, it’s clear this administration is living in a different reality than the rest of us.”
