Rep. Crawford Responds to May Inflation Report

Washington — Today, the Consumer Price Index for May reported that consumer prices are up 8.6% from last year.
Which makes this the highest rate since December 1981.
Representative Rick Crawford (AR-01) released the following statement in response to the latest inflation reports:
“The American people didn’t need another government report to know that the Biden economy continues to steal their wealth. They feel it every day. Middle class families are suffering more each month.
This report comes the morning after Speaker Pelosi spent millions on a highly produced, prime-time TV special about Donald Trump. House Democrats are out of touch with the real concerns of the American people and should stop by a gas station or supermarket, and see for themselves what their policies have wrought. It’s time the President and Speaker end their war on home-grown energy production, and rein in their runaway government spending.”
