Rep. Crawford Responds to Passage of Omnibus Spending Package

12/23/2022

Washington, DC – Today, Representative Rick Crawford (AR-01) issued the following statement after the omnibus spending bill passed the House:

“This bill is the Washington Beltway at its worst. More than $1.7 trillion in spending rushed through to lock in more inflationary spending, just days before the new GOP House majority will take over with a commitment to bring adult leadership to Washington. The bill contains no real solutions for the concerns Americans face today like high energy costs, an illegal immigration crisis at the border, and record inflation. This legislation also burdens American families with more wasteful government spending for divisive liberal policies.”
