Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR) will vote this evening for a full repeal of ObamaCare, a significant first step in restoring a fiscally responsible Congress.

“The people of the First District sent me to Washington to repeal ObamaCare and I will cast my vote in honor of my constituents,” said Congressman Rick Crawford. “The repeal of ObamaCare not only takes irresponsible, tax-hiking, job-killing legislation off the books, but is also a solid first step towards a fiscally conscious Congress that legislates with our constituents’ interests in mind. The 112th Congress is focused on lessening the burden on taxpayers and creating jobs for Americans, and the repeal of ObamaCare plays a major role in fulfilling our promise to restore fiscal sanity to Washington.”

H.R. 2 -The Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act – will fully repeal the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010. The vote is scheduled for tonight.

Congressman Rick Crawford is the first Republican elected to represent Arkansas’s First Congressional District since Reconstruction.  He serves on the Agriculture and Transportation & Infrastructure Committees. Rick and his wife Stacy, both ASU alumni, reside in Jonesboro with their two children.
