Rep. Crawford’s Statement on Today’s Farm Bill Hearing

3/1/2022

Washington  Today, Representative Rick Crawford (AR-01) released the following statement following the House Agriculture Committee’s hearing entitled, “A 2022 Review of the Farm Bill: Commodity Group Perspectives on Title 1.”

“Today’s hearing was long overdue – it is unfortunate that we have not had a hearing about 2018 Farm Bill implementation until this year. However, I am glad to see the committee taking steps in the right direction to build a proper foundation for the next Farm Bill, which will provide certainty for our nation’s agriculture producers. Our farmers and ranchers deserve a Farm Bill that works for them and Congress should deliver on that promise.”
