Washington – Today, the Trump Administration, the House Committee on Ways and Means, and the Senate Committee on Finance released a framework for their vision for tax reform. That frame work may be found here, and a one page overview may be found here. 

Upon release of the framework, which intends to “deliver a 21st century tax code that is built for growth, supports middle class families, defends our workers, protects our jobs, and puts America first,” Representative Rick Crawford (AR-1) released the following statement:

“The 1st District of Arkansas will be looking for a fiscally responsible tax reform plan that significantly lowers taxes for working middle income Americans and their families. I support the President’s goal of making our tax code more competitive to increase economic growth and drive up wages for American workers. Ultimately, our current tax code benefits some at the expense of the many, and Americans should be able to keep more of their paychecks to spend, save, or invest as they so choose.”
