But if votes are taken later this month, all 429 current U.S. representatives and all 100 U.S. senators may be summoned back to Washington to cast them.

Jonesboro to receive more than $360k in coronavirus assistance

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The city of Jonesboro will receive $362,524 in federal funds to aid its response to COVID-19.

U.S. Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton, along with First District Representative Rick Crawford, announced Thursday the state of Arkansas will receive $23.6 million from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

Arkansans hightail it to D.C. to help pass relief bill

WASHINGTON -- The effort wasn't easy, but members of the House delegation from Arkansas all made it back to Capitol Hill on Friday in time to vote for the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.

Ultimately, no roll call was taken; the $2 trillion package passed on a voice vote.
