Arkansas is one of the top chicken producing states in the country and many Arkansans are able to support their families because of the chicken industry.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rick Crawford, (R-AR) and Congressman Sanford Bishop, (D-GA) announced that they have co-founded the bipartisan Congressional Chicken Caucus. This week President Obama made clear that he would rather please environmentalists than create jobs in America.
With the rejection of the Keystone XL Pipeline, President Obama effectively killed 140,000 jobs that Keystone would have created directly and indirectly. That means 140,000 American families who could have benefitted from the certainty of a good paying job will not have the chance now.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rick Crawford, (R-AR) reacted to the Obama Administration's rejection of the Keystone XL Pipeline Project. The project would have built a pipeline from Canada into the United States and provided our country with an alternative to Middle Eastern oil.

Recently passed trade agreements have opened doors for American businesses to grow. Crawford's goal in hosting the export discussion is to give Arkansas businesses the knowledge and tools they need to grow their companies through export markets.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rick Crawford, (R-AR) called on Speaker John Boehner to let the House vote on extending the payroll tax holiday. In a letter to Speaker Boehner, Crawford asked for all options to be on the table and noted that he would be willing to accept a compromise tax relief plan. WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR) announced that the Postal Service is delaying all post office closures until next year. No post offices or distribution facilities will be closed or consolidated before May 15, 2012. The Postal Service decided to postpone the closures so that Congress has time to pass postal reform legislation.
