WASHINGTON – Congressman Rick Crawford, (R-AR) and Congressman Sanford Bishop, (D-GA), co-chairs of the Congressional Chicken Caucus, led their colleagues in expressing concerns over antidumping duties Mexico has preliminarily assigned to U.S. chicken leg quarters. In a letter to U.S. Trade Ambassador Ron Kirk, members of the Chicken Caucus said the pending duties would have a devastating economic impact on the American chicken industry.
This month the Supreme Court will rule on the constitutionality of President Obama's healthcare reform law. Although no one knows what the justices will decide, we do know the healthcare law is taking a toll on our struggling economy. WASHINGTON – Congressman Rick Crawford announced today that Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region VI Administrator Al Armendariz is resigning. Armendariz is stepping down after a 2010 video revealed his comments endorsing a "general philosophy" by EPA to "crucify" and "make examples" of oil and gas companies.
Today, Congressman Rick Crawford announced the Department of Labor is dropping a proposed rule that would have imposed child labor laws on farm families. The Labor Department made the announcement late yesterday after hearing from farm families across the country.
