Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR) issued the following statement in reaction to the passing of the Continuing Resolution.
"This was the first step towards bringing fiscal discipline back to Washington and allowing the private sector to grow and create jobs for unemployed Americans," said Congressman Rick Crawford. "This week, the House passed legislation that will keep the government running and cut billions from the budget. We still have a long way to go but we are making great progress. I have complete faith this Congress will restore the economy and get America back to work."
Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR) will vote for the Continuing Resolution when it is brought up for a vote later this week.
"Passage of the Continuing Resolution is critically important to the stability of our country," said Representative Crawford. "The CR is the first step in reining in government spending so the private sector can thrive and create jobs for our unemployed Americans."
Congressman Rick Crawford wasted no time before sponsoring legislation in the 112th Congress that will mitigate the harm of Obamacare and curb reckless government spending. Congressman Crawford this week co-sponsored the Small Business Paperwork Mandate Repeal Act and the Balanced Budget Amendment.
