Washington, D.C. – Earlier today, President Donald Trump announced from Miami his plans to re-institute restrictions on travel to Cuba and U.S. business transactions.

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton, along with Congressmen Rick Crawford, French Hill, Steve Womack and Bruce Westerman today announced that 15 Arkansas airports will receive $2.7 million from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to support facility upgrades and expansions.

"Infrastructure investments are critical to growth and economic development. These funds will upgrade facilities across the state and to better serve the needs of Arkansas businesses and families," members said.

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday evening, members of the Arkansas congressional delegation sent a letter to the Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue, requesting immediate assistance in providing relief to Arkansas farmers affected by recent flooding in the state. They also requested flexibility in the enforcement of "ability to replant" USDA provisions.

The bill will modernize the way Congressional Members spend their time with constituents and colleagues, and how they conduct business in Washington. Businesses and corporations around the world already take advantage of current technology to better communicate with one another. However, in some ways, Congress still communicates the same way it did in the 18th Century putting itself at a disadvantage.

U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) and U.S. Congressman Rick Crawford (R-Arkansas) today announced they will hold a town hall meeting Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Heber Springs Community Center.
The doors to the Heber Springs Community Center will open to the public at 7:30 AM. No firearms, large bags or backpacks, food, or drink, will be permitted in the Heber Springs Community Center.

Today Congressman Rick Crawford (AR-1) introduced H.R. , the Farm Risk Abatement and Mitigation Election (FRAME) Act, to give farmers the option of taking disaster preparedness into their own hands. Being from districts that heavily rely on the production of agriculture goods, Representatives Steven Palazzo (MI-4), French Hill (AR-2) and Bruce Westerman (AR-3) are co-sponsors of H.R. .The FRAME Act would establish tax-deferred farm savings accounts that farmers could then withdraw from during difficult times without waiting on disaster declarations and government assistance.
