Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR) joins the nation in expressing his profound sorrow over today's tragic shooting of his colleague, Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ). Crawford issued the following statement:

"My heart goes out to the Congresswoman, the other victims and everyone impacted by this tragic event. I am watching the situation closely and continuously praying for those affected by this inexcusable act of violence. This is truly a sad day."
