Today, Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR), sent a letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner expressing his concerns over the Fiscal Year 2013 Continuing Resolution. In the letter, Crawford tells Speaker Boehner he cannot support the final version of the Fiscal Year 2013 Continuing Resolution unless steps are taken to delay implementation of the ObamaCare cost provisions that would increase deficit spending.

The primary objective of the caucus is to provide a bicameral and bipartisan open forum for the various issues that affect the entire reach of the Mississippi River.

Today, Congressmen Rick Crawford (AR-1), Tim Griffin (AR-2), Steve Womack (AR-3) and Tom Cotton (AR-4) introduced the Sensible School Lunch Act in the U.S. House of Representatives. The legislation will provide school districts with greater flexibility in implementing new rules for the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. The House bill is a companion to bipartisan legislation introduced in the U.S. Senate by Senators John Hoeven (R-ND) and Mark Pryor (D-AR). The School Nutrition Association (SNA) has already endorsed the Senate bill.
