Washington, D.C. –Representative Rick Crawford sent a letter to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg seeking more detailed information about the ads, funds, and sources of Russian-based advertising that was displayed on his official Facebook page. Crawford, who recently deleted his Facebook page due to these concerns, believes the information shared in recent hearings did not go far enough in allaying his concerns and that of his constituents regarding the ads that were displayed on his official page, the revenue that Facebook earned as a result, and who was behind the ads that were placed.

Representative Crawford Launches Text Messaging Platform for First District Constituents

Washington, D.C. –Today, Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR) and Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) said the passage of H.R. 4, which includes a provision to create a working group to address sexual assault on airplanes, gives momentum to their bill (H.R. 5256) to require the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to collect statistics related to sexual assaults on any mode of transportation under federal jurisdiction, including airplanes and ships.

Trump's authority to impose the tariffs is based on a law that gives the president the power to restrict trade on the basis of national security interests.
